President
Barack Obama came to Macomb Community College to promote a
major college funding initiative. After a private welcome
meeting with Dr. James Jacobs, the college president, and
selected dignitaries; President Obama spoke to a crowd of
approximately five hundred on a sunny day in July of 2009.
